On Thursday, February 28th at 7:00 pm in the school cafeteria, third and fourth graders at Camden-Rockport Elementary School will present The Fairy Tale Tale, a spoof on familiar fairy tales-where the villains become the heroes.

Based on “The Case of the Bewitched Books” By: Claire Boiko.

Approximately 30 third and fourth graders are involved-either acting, dancing or setting up the scenery, props and costumes. Familiarizing third and fourth graders with the entire process of presenting a play-from auditions to rehearsal schedules to notes following rehearsals to production-has been the goal of this after-school Youth Arts project.

Dwarfs, princes and ballroom dancers can be seen prancing around the stage.  Students are practicing their lines and realizing how much “remembering” goes into producing a play.

Michelle O’Dwyer is the Youth Arts member in charge of producing this play: Korinn Scattoloni, familiar and talented dance instructor in this area, is responsible for choreography and movement.

Come share the fun and treat yourself to yummy desserts following this short performance.

Don’t miss Galadria, Ruben, Lauren, Nicole, William, Isaiah, and the rest of the cast and crew doing their thing!
