Our 2021-2022 Annual Appeal is on! You can donate via this link or the button above in the upper right. Below you’ll find our fundraising letter - thank you in advance for any support you can give!

Dear Youth Arts Supporter,

For close to five decades, Youth Arts has worked with teachers to add arts enrichment into the Camden Rockport and Five Town CSD schools. As we all know, the demands of the past couple of  years have been unlike any other school year in our organization’s history. But just as artists are a creative, innovative, and tireless group, so is Youth Arts!

Although things looked different last year, Youth Arts responded to the requests from art teachers and sponsored individual packets of art supplies for both remote and in-person students at both the elementary and middle schools. Youth Arts met the need for over two hundred packets of art supplies and continues to assist in whatever way we can to connect students to art.

This year, we are delighted to be supporting residencies once again in our schools. As students return to this “new normal,” our organization has risen to the challenge of providing safe and inspiring artist visits to a population that is hungry for hands-on creative learning. We have always felt that the arts are essential to our students, but in our minds, this period might turn out to be the most vital in our history.

A tax-deductible donation of $25, $50, $100 or more makes it possible for Youth Arts to continue providing arts enrichment in innovative ways that meet the needs of our changing world and education system.

Youth Arts has always sought to make our community and our schools truly arts-infused. Please help us continue this important tradition by sending in your donation in the enclosed envelope or visiting our website at youthartsmaine.org.

With gratitude,

The Youth Arts Board of Directors:
