JUMP RHYTHM JAZZ PROJECT Comes to Maine!

JUMP RHYTHM JAZZ PROJECT Comes to Maine!

JUMP RHYTM JAZZ PROJECT, an Emmy award-winning dance company, will perform and teach in the Strom Auditorium on Friday and Saturday, October 1 and 2.

Sponsored by Youth Arts and Bay Chamber Concerts.

October 1, JRJP will perform in the Strom for Camden Rockport Middle School students.

Saturday, October 2, JRJP will teach a Master Class for Camden Hills Regional High School students at 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Saturday evening at 7:00 p.m. they will perform for the public.  Tickets for the evening performance can be purchased through the Bay Chamber Box Office.

Youth Arts FishES

During the 2009/2010 school year all Youth Arts residencies at the elementary school will be working with local artists to create fun fish. This is a community-building project where each student will create a fish.  During this residency they will also learn more about art history as well as the biology, anatomy, and structure of fish connecting to their regular classroom curriculum.

The Golden Dragon Chinese Acrobats – February 12, 2010

In collaboration with Bay Chamber Concerts, we are proud to present The Golden Dragon Chinese Acrobats.

The Golden Dragon Chinese Acrobats represent the best of a time-honored tradition that began more than twenty-seven centuries ago.  Direct from Hebei, China, the company has traveled around the world to over 65 countries on five continents.

Youth Arts will sponsor three performances for our students from each of the area schools on Friday, February 12, 2010.

There will be 3 all school assemblies:

9:00 a.m. (CRES)
11:00 a.m  (CRMS)
1:00 p.m. (CHRHS)
